Currently playing as Iraq and trying to come up with a decent offensive template to do well across the desert. Low manpower, low supplies and weak industry are all part of the fun in this run. Wanted to get your opinion and tips on good ways to navigate these constraints

Cav are weird, they resist the HP increase from hospitals AFAIK. Shovels can give you a bit more terrain modifiers, and getting rangers with jager/mountain training as your scouts can be fun as the terrain modifiers kinda super charge cav. Pioneers synergize well with cav by just letting them keep their speed up in the river valleys, so marine commandos has an argument alongside elevated mountaineers. If you are mounted infantry, cavalry recons best on cheap units due to the hp bonus.

Mobile inf/rapid domination version with marine commando pioneers, and elevated mountaineers rangers (Maximizing the rockets soft attack.) Fat terrain modifiers on a tanky unit (For 21 width.) Whats not to love? Artillery doctrines a tossup, but concentrated and flying batteries both have solid bonuses (Depending on if the cavs the focus or not.) The special forces mixup does invalidate this one from using Assault recon, or Field engineering. If you can afford signals though, I recommend it for the fire concentration and reinforce rate. @Walsst Nice, I originally tried to boost the hell out of the desert terrain stats as I was considering trying to push West through all of North Africa against the UK. But it's rare to get companies that help boost attack/defense in Desert. Movement modifiers are more common though. With Camels, you only get a mere 5% boost on attack and defense. I guess it could be easier to just not have to worry about the desert modifiers and just make a more general template with more firepower
