Another summer beta inspired one.
Cav get +5 HP from cav recon with mounted infantry, limbered artillery gets speed 8 and 390-410 hp with this. So you cavalry becomes this immensely flexible unit that matches a wide variety of units with speed.
Camels and elephants will go hard next patch. Especially camels since those get positive terrain modifiers.
Rocket artillery also gets a huge breakthrough buff, so cav with towed rockets captures the flavor of the unique summer beta insanity.
--THIS IS MORE A SHOWCASE OF THE FLEXIBILITY, this uses pretty early tech to highlight this--
I went with pioneers specifically to give the cavalry a tiny subset of terrain types they aren't unacceptably bad on.
-- Plus posidon is the god of the sea and horses so lets align our cavalry with their proper elemental affinity here. --
To upgrade this, you can use mechs harden it a little, boost hard attack, and breakthrough. We like our cavalry a little hardened in this household. An offensive version should have flame-tanks and signal companies, maybe armored engineers depending on the specific fronts terrain.
--WEAKNESES--
Can't cheese the HP with hospitals. Terrain modifiers are bad. Combating the terrain modifiers is expensive. This is supposed to be cheap so the upgrades being expensive is a weakness.

Adverse terrain defensive version, 360 HP, high recovery rate, and speed 8 leaves you with little room to get overrun.
