This mechanized Marine division, specialized in Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD), is an elite formation intended to be fielded in limited numbers. It is designed to spearhead amphibious assaults against enemy coastlines and secure the landing zone through its strong anti-air capabilities, substantial fuel storage capacity, and entrenchment potential; the latter two stemming from the inclusion of dozer blades and fuel tanks in the medium tank and medium flamethrower tank designs.
The unit is organized according to a 3:1 structural ratio.
For every mechanized amphibious battalion, one amphibious medium tank battalion is attached (it should be noted that the amphibious tank battalion is not currently available in the designer, therefore the medium tank battalion has been used as a substitute reference).
The doctrines and support companies have been selected to reinforce the division's GBAD role while still maintaining the other key combat statistics required for its assault-oriented mission profile.
Given the elite nature of this formation, both the division template and the tank designs have been conceived to remain compatible with the industrial capabilities of a minor nation seeking to specialize its armed forces in naval and jungle warfare.
