So i made a light tank, that has high breakthrough compared to its cost. (1940 tech)

wait.... That many armor clicks should consume extra steel and rare metals IIRC. Not digging your design, its cheap and good, but I'm noticing the website might not be displaying everything quite right. Designs like this though I view as complimentary to the expensive low resource one, the one that uses little IC goes at the top of the production que, the one that uses zero resources at the bottom. Lets you respond to restrictions in production. Its just that a lot of people forget the incentives that make you able to make the second type, as stacking the cost% down modifiers is easy, figuring out how to max stats while keeping the metal cost at one takes some clever business. You can respond to trade issues and optimize accordingly thanks to that. Only complaint is its not fast enough for CAV, might as well go diesel and add extra ammo.

@Walsst first the steel thing is weird, but its still not too high cost. Then for the speed thing, i did not really pay attention for speed. I initially intented this for assault infantry/space marine, and to bring lot of breakthrough for them, so diesel and extra ammo it is

@Walsst I believe armor levels only add 1 steel at level 5+ and that’s pretty much it. They used to require chromium at higher levels but they removed it

For the design, I like it. This is pretty strong in having a usable tank with the most breakthrough but keeping it as cheap as possible. But like you said, the 5.6 speed isn’t good for anything so putting a diesel engine would do better here
