This is the first community challenge on Hoidesigner! Build the strongest offensive German division for Poland, 1939. The challenge will run for 5 days - best submission by Wednesday, March 25th 2026 EOD gets rewarded with the first Hoidesigner challenge medal! ----- Challenge constraints: - Up to 1939 tech only : No unit restrictions - Mobile Warfare Grand Doctrine Required - Max 2 sub-doctrines unlocked ------ How templates will be ranked: Submissions will be scored across three categories: 1. [Weight 50%] Raw Offensive Power = (Soft Attack × 2) + Breakthrough + Org + HP (Hard attack and piercing excluded — Poland has no meaningful armor in 1939) 2. [Weight 25%] Production Efficiency = Raw Offensive Power / Production Cost 3. [Weight 25%] Manpower Efficiency = Raw Offensive Power / Manpower Cost * Scoring updated based on feedback (Thanks to r/TheMelnTeam): Soft attack will be weighted higher as the primary damage stat and HP added to prevent unrealistic builds ----- This is the opening move: 36 width, four line artillery battalions with 331 soft attack. Aggressive, built for one job: breaking through before attrition matters. Think you can do better? The challenge is open! Let's find out what the best Fall Weiss division actually looks like.

w/o Mountaineer subdoctrine View template → View template → While the Soft Attack is ~10% lower. The additional Org, HP, and Breakthrough will make the division sustain materially fewer equipment losses.

My submission Less soft attack but I compensate this with higher org, hp and breakthrough. Slightly more expensive but I had to add field hospitals due to the lack of armor on this template. View template →

Fall Weiss Challenge has wrapped! After scoring the submissions across the three weighted categories, both templates ended up tied: ✅ @Beeps submission won Raw Offensive Power (50% weight) ✅ @TMRWMeta submission won Production Efficiency (25% weight) and Manpower Efficiency (25% weight) Since there wasn’t a tiebreaker rule upfront, it didn’t feel right to create one after the fact. Both templates were genuinely strong and deserving, so the badge is awarded to both submissions. Full transparency, this was as much a test of the format as it was a competition. We’ll refine the scoring rules and defining tiebreaker criteria upfront for future challenges. Hopefully this gets more traction next time. Thanks to the two who threw their templates in the ring and competed!
